In 2018 Bruges welcomes its 2nd Triennial. Between 5 May - 16 September, next year’s edition “Liquid City” takes Zygmunt Bauman’s concept of "Liquid Modernity" as starting point. Dedicated to contemporary art and architecture in public spaces, the Bruges Triennial features creations from around the globe.

The curators – Till-Holger Borchert and Michel Dewilde – will introduce the theme of the Triennial and announce the participating artists who will be showing new work in the Unesco World Heritage centre of Bruges. Among the participants are Jason Klimoski and Lesley Chang from Brooklyn-based Studio KCA who at this Frieze event will be given a sneak preview to their new project for the Bruges Triennial in 2018 and discuss its implications.
